La fuga
La fuga
La fuga
The performance unfolds in a room with two distinct doors—one allows only entry, the other only exit. Within this space, the performer moves in a relentless loop, running dynamically yet never truly arriving.
The audience is divided. Inside the room, spectators wait in anticipation, their tension building as they listen for the performer’s return. Outside, casual bystanders witness the performance by chance, unaware of its context. These two spaces create opposing energies—inside, expectancy hangs in the air, while outside, surprise lingers as the performer appears and disappears without warning.
Like a dog chasing its own tail, the performer is caught in an endless struggle, moving between these two worlds but belonging to neither. The cycle continues until exhaustion takes over, forcing the performance to its natural end. If the performer stops outside, those inside are left waiting indefinitely, never seeing his face.
With no fixed duration, the piece lasts as long as the performer’s body allows—shaped by endurance, circumstance, and the unpredictability of each moment.
