I was part of INCONTRO #21 — Erase to Make a Mark, a collective exhibition held at Fondazione Pini in Milan, curated by Alessandro Laita and Chiaralice Rizzi, and produced by world know artists Adrian Paci and Gianni Caravaggio. The exhibition was part of the ongoing "Incontri" (Encounters) series—an evolving project that brings together small groups of emerging artists around a central theme, activating the foundation’s spaces for one intense week of exhibitions, talks, performances, and public events.

My participation was during the edition that featured a group of artists from Brera and NABA, chosen for their polyhedric approaches and diverse media. The result was a vibrant and eclectic exhibition: from Chiara Mecenero’s bold act of burning her own artwork, to Isabella Modanese’s poetic reflection on nature and its reimagining beyond traditional representation.

My work, Imma, was a deeply personal piece centered on my grandmother and the Berber culture, exploring memory, heritage, and the act of reclaiming stories that have been marginalized or erased. The exhibition, as its title suggests, brought together artists eager to carve out new narratives—marks born from absence, loss, or silence—transforming what has been erased into something present, urgent, and alive.
