RE:Current #2

RE:Current #2

RE:Current #2 was a group exhibition held at NP3 Gallery in Groningen, showcasing a diverse range of artists working across various mediums — from painting to digital and experimental practices. I presented my video installation dream menghtine: a poem for simple things, a deeply personal work exploring grief, memory, and the fragility of time through visual poetry.

The title RE:Current can be understood in two ways: on one hand, as the act of returning — continuously revisiting the process, research, questions, and experience of creation and presentation, all with the goal of pushing the artwork further. On the other hand, it speaks to redirection — taking the work out of its original context (like the studio or a specific setting) and recontextualizing it within a new space or audience.

The exhibition brought together students from different programs, including Painting, MADtech (Media, Art, Design & Technology), and iRAP (Interrelational Art Practices). The group collaborated over several weeks to shape the most meaningful way to present their works.

The exhibition featured also works by Dawn Dang, Bobbi Essers, Twan Fan, Diana Ferro, Frank Archive, Annika Hardy, Bianca Huisman, Isabela Manea, Zoya Taseva and Noah van Wijk.
